Pick the version that matches your socket (the cigarette lighter). Choose 12V for cars, vans and most motorhomes, and 24V for lorries, trucks and some campervans. Not sure? Your vehicle handbook says which one you have. The 12V version needs a socket that can handle 120W / 10A; most can.

No. It is a small heater that blows warm air at one spot: your hands, your feet or a patch of misted windscreen. It helps while your car heater warms up, but it does not replace it. Always keep your view of the road clear and never mount it where it blocks an airbag.

Warm hands on the school run
