Does it really work in complete darkness?

Yes. A built-in infrared light shines an invisible beam ahead, so you can see in the pitch dark without scaring wildlife away. Use the IR+ and IR- buttons on top to make the picture brighter or softer.

help

Can I take photos and record video?

Yes. Press the camera button on top to take a photo or record a video in 1080P HD, so you can show everyone the fox or owl you spotted.

help

Is it easy to use?

Yes. All five buttons sit together on top: power, menu and mode, infrared down, infrared up and photo or video. Slip your hand under the leather strap and you can work it with one thumb.

help

Can I use it to check my garden or driveway at night?

Yes. It is handheld, so you can look out of a window or step outside and check the garden, driveway or chicken coop in the dark. It is not a fixed security camera.

help

Can I return it?

Yes, no questions asked. You have 30 days from delivery to return it. Just send us an email and we will help you with your return.

Arrived damaged or faulty? Send us a photo and we will send a free replacement or refund you in full.

Why you’ll love it

Your garden after dark

See what moves when the lights go out

Foxes on the lawn, a badger by the hedge, an owl on the fence post. The night is busier than you think, and now you can watch it all without a torch.

From pitch black to a clear picture

How it sees in the dark

From pitch black to a clear picture

To the naked eye the garden is just black. The built-in infrared light shines a beam the animals cannot see, so you see them clearly in total darkness. Press IR+ on a black night, or IR- when there is some moonlight.

Sharp lens, clear HD screen

Built to see more

Sharp lens, clear HD screen

A starlight-grade lens gathers every bit of light, and the IPS HD screen inside the eyecup shows a crisp 1080P picture. Big, tactile buttons you can find with cold fingers, in a high-strength ABS body.

Garden, countryside walk or campsite

Take it anywhere

Garden, countryside walk or campsite

Watch owls and deer on a night walk, check the garden or driveway when you hear a noise, or keep an eye on the tent at the campsite. Small enough for a coat pocket, and a brilliant gift for anyone who loves the outdoors.

Tough enough for wet, muddy nights

Made for the outdoors

Tough enough for wet, muddy nights

An impact-resistant shell with dust-proof seals, so a knock against a gatepost or a muddy field path is no problem.

  • Badgers in the garden!

We always wondered what dug up the lawn. First night out with this and there were two badgers by the hedge. The kids could not believe it.

  • Dad was made up with it

Bought it for my dad, who walks the dog late every night. He takes it out every evening now and sends us videos of deer in the field.

  • Brilliant on the campsite

Took it camping in Wales. Once it got dark we could see rabbits all over the field. Small enough to keep in my jacket pocket.

  • Hedgehogs under the hydrangeas

I pop out into the garden after dark to see who visits. Two hedgehogs under the hydrangeas on the very first night. Simple buttons, even with cold fingers.

  • Took a minute to learn

Great picture once you get going. It took me a few goes to work out the menu button, but after that it is easy.

  • Owl at the end of the lane

There is a tawny owl that sits on our gatepost most nights. We finally got a video of it. Really pleased.
