Will it fit my mobility scooter?

Yes, it fits most 3 and 4-wheel mobility scooters. The cover spans about 175 cm and drapes over the handlebars, seat and basket. It also goes over most powered wheelchairs and e-bikes. For an extra large scooter, measure the widest point and email us before you order.

Can it get caught in the wheels?

No. The cover drapes over the sides of the scooter and stops above the wheels, so it never trails on the ground or touches the tyres. On a windy day, tuck the loose sides under your legs and pull the hood drawstring tight, and it stays well clear of the wheels.

Can I still see the road, or does it steam up?

You keep a clear view. The front window sits over the handlebars, so your speed, battery and indicator lights stay in view, and the clear hood lets you see around you. The cover is open underneath, so air keeps flowing and the window does not steam up like a car windscreen. On a cold, damp morning a little mist can form: one wipe with your sleeve and it is gone.

Will it blow up or tear in the wind?

No, it is made from thick PVC with welded, taped seams and a deep hem that hangs down over the scooter, so it stays put in gusty weather. Pull the hood drawstring tight on windy days.

Can I put it on by myself?

Yes. It goes on like a poncho: slip it over your head while you sit on the scooter and let it drape down over the front. No straps or clips to fasten.

Back home, give it a shake and the rain runs straight off. Once dry, it folds flat (about 35 x 28 cm) into your basket or under the seat.
